In order to learn a new language, you need three things:

  1. Grammar and Vocabulary: This is the first step, which we teach you in the preparation part of the class (as seen in the video below).
  2. Application: Your brain naturally filters out unnecessary information. By actively speaking and listening, we aid the brain in remembering and retaining information up to 20 times better. This is why people learn quickly when using the language actively.
  3. Repetition: Learning new words requires repeated exposure. We ensure you prepare for the class, actively use new words in class, and study flashcards with the words afterward. This approach helps you learn new words in the fastest way possible.

After finishing each level we will evaluate you, and give you a certificate if you pass the exam. If you dont pass the exam, you will be suggested the improvements to make, and you do the exam until you pass it.

2 Credits = 1 Small Group Class (Max 4 students for intensive speaking practice).

Liten Klasse: Our Small Group Classes are designed for students who want a more intensive and personalized learning experience.

 

Also, join our Writing Class every Wednesday! Learn to write better, and improve your vocabulary and grammar.

So If you have the standard package, you can choose 4 of these lessons a week, and you can even pick different lessons each week, convenient right?

The best part? If you want a break for a week, you can save those lessons (credits) for upcoming weeks, as long as you have an active membership.

Will I receive feedback and corrections on my speaking during the B1 Norwegian course?

Of course! Our teachers in the Norwegian B1 online course are there to help you and to correct you. It is very important for us that you improve and get a bit better every day. When you speak, the teacher will often make some corrections, and tell you how you can improve your sentences.

Can I pay in NOK?

How long will the B1 Norwegian course take?

It will take from 1-4 months to finish the B1 Norwegian course, depending on what package you choose. Here is the breakdown:

Basic package: 4-6 months
Standard package: 2-3 months
Speed package: 1-2 months

What is the difference between the different packages?

The difference is in the amount of classes per week. So with the basic you will have 4 classes a month, and the standard will have 4 classes a week. And so on.

Of course, the better package, the faster you will learn. That is the difference.

Is this B1 course a speaking course?

Yes! This B1 Norwegian course is a speaking course, where you will learn to speak and have conversations in Norwegian. And you will have from 1-6 lessons a week, depending on what package you choose.

What if I never have spoken Norwegian before?

If you never have spoken Norwegian before, I suggest you take the A2 course. There you will learn to speak for the first time.

How can I sign up for the B1 Norwegian course?

Just pick the package that fits you, and sign up for the B1 course on this website. If you got any questions before signing up, just ask us.

What if I want to cancel my B1 Norwegian course?

You can cancel the monthly subscription whenever you want. And there is no minimum amount of months required.

How long does it take to speak fluently starting from the B1 course?

From B1 it will take you about 2-4 months if you follow the plan you will receive from us when you sign up. You can expect a fast increase in your abilities to both speak and listen in Norwegian.

Does this B1 course offer a flexible schedule?

Of course. We have many students who work shifts and can’t have a fixed schedule.

We will ask about this after you sign up. If you have a flexible plan, you can simply pick the best hours that are available each week. And if something comes up unexpectedly, you can reschedule your lesson up to 6 hours prior to the lesson for free.

How much do I have to study every week in this online B1 course?

It is expected that will have to put aside around 90 min per lesson you have a week. Since each lesson has a preparation part. And each lesson is 55 minutes. So if you have 4 lessons a week, it will require about 6 hours a week from you.

Can I prepare for my Norwegian exam with this B1 course?

Yes! All of the materials we study it taken from typical questions and topics from past Norwegian exams.

How long is each B1 speaking lesson?

Each conversation lesson is 55 minutes. You will also have a preparation before the lesson on our platform. This preparation takes about 10-60 minutes, depending on how much you want to prepare.

You will also have access to a video recording after the class if you want to go over it, and learn even more.

Will I get a B1 language certificate when I finish the course?

Yes! After you finish the B1 Norwegian course, you will get your certificate. This can  be used to apply for jobs and boost your career.
